Yet as humans, we have preferences for some of those \u201cthings&#8221; over others. Our preferences can elicit much suffering. The recording begins with a short talk that follows an unrecorded conversation during which the class participants voiced a range of strong emotions arising in their lives in response to various current events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note there is a connectivity issue near the beginning during which the sound quality is warbly for a moment.
